Fringe Improv for Kids!

Getting the attention of children is incredibly hard to do, and keeping that attention is even harder. Because the improvisation games at this workshop are meant for children, it will feed their creativity and grow their curiosity. In the process of the workshop, children will learn how to develop new skills, build friendships, strengthen language skills as well as communication skills, while also learning valuable lessons about teamwork and collaboration. This is proof that learning valuable skills can be fun! This workshop is for kids ages 6-12.

Workshop leader Tanis Joaquin Gonzales is 20-years-old, Mexican-American, Greek, and has roots with the Navajo Tribe. He has a BFA in Acting from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a lifetime martial artist, wrestler, vocalist, and more recently an actor. Tanis has experience teaching children, and has hosted a number of workshops in the values of artistic and creative thinking as well as understanding the value of hard work.
